Privacy Policy
스튜디오 머그음 (Studio [mug:um]) ("we") processes personal information as described below, in line with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and other applicable laws.

1. What we collect
- When you book (required): name, email, contact (KakaoTalk ID or WhatsApp number), party size, hotel, package, date and time slot. Optional: notes.
- When you pay: payment method, amount, order and transaction IDs. Card details are handled by our payment providers; we do not store them.
- Automatically: server access logs (IP address, time, browser) and a language-preference cookie.
- During the shoot: photos of you.
2. Why we use it
- To confirm and manage your booking, send schedule and meeting details, take deposits and process refunds.
- To run the session, deliver photos and handle questions or complaints.
- To keep records required by law.
3. How long we keep it
- We delete personal information once its purpose is fulfilled, except: contract and cancellation records, 5 years; payment records, 5 years; complaint and dispute records, 3 years (Korean e-commerce consumer protection law); website access logs, 3 months.
- Full photo files are deleted 3 months after the shoot. Photos you have not asked us to keep private may stay in our portfolio; we remove them on request.
4. Sharing
- We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. If a resort permit needs your details, we ask you first and share only what is needed.
5. Service providers
- KG Inicis and Toss Payments (card payments), PayPal (international payments), Supabase Inc. (booking database), Vercel Inc. (website hosting), Resend (emails), Google LLC (photo delivery via Google Drive).
6. International transfers
- To provide the service, data is stored or processed outside Korea: Supabase (servers in Tokyo, Japan) for bookings; Vercel (USA and other regions) for access logs; Resend (USA) for emails; PayPal (USA/Singapore) for USD payments; Google (USA) for photo delivery. If you object, you can book through a consultation instead of the online form.
7. Your rights
- You can ask to see, correct, delete or stop the processing of your information at any time by contacting us below. Records we must keep by law are kept for the legal period.
8. Security
- Bookings are stored in an access-restricted database, read and written only from our server, and all traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). The admin page is password-protected.
9. Cookies
- We only use a cookie to remember your language. No advertising or tracking cookies.
